About the Company

Are you a passionate and innovative individual with a heart that beats for creative craftsmanship and learning? Clockwork School Staffing & Recruitment is now seeking a dedicated woodwork teacher for a primary school in Västerås to inspire and guide young talents in the world of woodworking.

Your Responsibilities

As a woodwork teacher, you will teach students in grades 4-9, where you will spark curiosity and enthusiasm for woodworking. Your role involves not only teaching techniques and safety but also inspiring students to explore their creative sides and develop their problem-solving skills. A well-thought-out plan is already in place, giving you the freedom to focus on realizing your educational visions and creating an engaging learning environment. The position is approximately 70-80% and starts immediately or by agreement. The preliminary length of the assignment is about 2 months.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting woodworking lessons according to the existing plan.
• Adapting teaching to meet the diverse learning needs and talents of students.
• Inspiring and motivating students to express themselves creatively and develop their craftsmanship skills.
• Managing pre- and post-work related to teaching to ensure a qualitative and continuous learning process.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is solution-oriented, has a strong ability to collaborate, and a passion for building relationships. You are driven by seeing your students develop and grow, both as individuals and in their creativity. You are flexible and able to adapt to different teaching situations while maintaining a clear structure and communicating your expectations in an inspiring and clear way. We primarily seek someone who is a certified teacher in woodworking but also welcome those with other relevant education in craftsmanship, pedagogy, or equivalent experience. To succeed in this role, you need to be able to create an inclusive and encouraging learning environment and be creative and innovative in your teaching to engage students.
